Little Crazy
Life has been a little crazy lately. I'm still trying to get adjusted to the new schedule of getting little guy to the sitter and to work on time as well as figuring out our routine at home. It's been crazy getting everything organized but I'm loving every minute I get to have with my family and my growing little guy. He hasn't been feeling good lately and he is fighting a cold which is making him fussy but also very cuddly. I'm going to be having some time soon to craft and post some recipes as well as other events that have been going on. Please bear with me as I work on getting things a little less crazy around here :)

Back to Work
It's been an adjustment around here this week because I've had to go back to work. I think I can honestly say that going back to work has been one of the hardest things I've had to do. I've been so use to being home with my little guy the past 8 weeks and taking care of him. Having to be away from him for the day has been hard to get use to. I've shed my fair share of tears, but I know he is in good hands at his sitters. She is a family friend and has been watching children in her house for 20 plus years. She is very motherly and takes wonderful care of the children. I've had no worries about sending him to her, it's just been hard being away from him. Luckily I get a daily picture texted to me and it helps me get through the day. I am thankful that we found a wonderful sitter and that being a teacher I get to see him sooner at the end of the day and I know I have holidays, spring break, and summers off. I am also thankful that little guy has started sleeping through the night this week. I am so excited knowing I will at least get 6 hours of sleep a night! A fantastic way to get back into the swing of things. I do love my job and teaching my little kinders, but I would give anything to be a stay at home mom with my little guy. At least my days are very busy, go super fast, and my class always keeps me laughing and smiling.
Getting ready for this week and use to the new routine of back to work has been the reason as to why it's been longer between posts. Bear with me as I get adjusted and new posts should be happening more frequently now. As a side note I had a wonderful Valentine's Day and got a beautiful bouquet of a dozen pink roses from my boys. What a wonderful thing to come home to on my first day back to work on Valentine's Day.

Bumbo Chair
Can I just say I love the Bumbo Chair for my little guy. Tonight was the first night we put him in it and he loved the little seat. It supports the back of his neck perfectly and he is all snugly in the chair. It really helps him to work his neck muscles to support his head and to help him sit up. He is only 7 weeks and really enjoys his new seat.
Tater Tot Casserole
Growing up my mom would always make this for my brother and I and it has now become a favorite with my family. I thought I'd share this easy and yummy recipe with you.

Logan's Nursery
I've been meaning to post pics of our little mans nursery and finally got around to it today. We decided to go with a monkey theme because it isn't to "baby" and it still works as he gets older. Plus there are so many cute monkey things out there right now and monkeys seem to be what's popular at the moment.
Our little monkeys nursery :)
This sign was custom made for the little man by an awesome girl :)
It's a little hard to see but the wall decals say " No more monkeys jumping on the bed"
